1. WHAT IS THE 626 MANDATE?
The 626 Mandate is a 24/7 prayer movement involving all AMI churches. This mandate comes directly from Isaiah 62:6-7 (NIV), "I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth."

It will be a 46 day prayer chain starting February 21, 2007 at 12AM (EST) and ending April 7, 2007 at 12AM (EST). Every member of the AMI Church family is invited to join in the 626 Mandate as we desire to build AMI on a foundation of united prayer.

2.  HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE SITE?

 

STEP 1:

Click the orange “GO” link found in the upper left hand corner on the 626 Mandate homepage.

Step 2:

Fill in the registration information, and then click the “Create User” button.

You will receive a registration email from noreply@amichurches.com.  Click on the verification link or, if you cannot click on it, copy and paste it into your browser.  Once your account has been validated, you will be able to login to the website.

3. I WANT TO SEE MY CHURCH’S PRAYER TOPICS.  WHERE CAN I FIND THEM?
On the 626 Mandate homepage, click on “View Prayer Topics” and then select your church to view its prayer topics.

You can also view Prayer Topics of Churches on the Sign Up page.  Below the calendar, there is a green menu bar with each church’s name.  Using your mouse, you can glide over your church’s name and a list of the titles of their prayer requests should be visible.  You can click on the title or the church name to go directly to that church’s Prayer Topics page.

4. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A PRAYER TIME?

STEP 1:

First, login to the website.  If you are already logged in, click the “Sign Up to Pray” link located at the top left of the page.

Step 2:

On the AMI Prayer Calendar page, use the calendar on the left to select a date range, and then click on the desired date/time slots in the time grid.  The time slots that you sign up for will be shaded light green.

5. I’VE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR A PRAYER TIME, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE IT.  HOW CAN I DO THIS?

In order to change or delete a prayer time, you must make the change at least 2 DAYS BEFORE the actual date.

 

On the AMI Prayer Calendar page, use the calendar on the left to select the date you need to modify.  Then click on the time slot that you need to delete once.  After you click the time slot, you should see a note in RED stating that you “DELETED date @ time.”

6. I WON’T BE ABLE TO PRAY AT THE TIME I SIGNED UP FOR.  CAN I “DE-COMMIT” FOR THIS TIME?
Yes, but only if you delete it at least 2 DAYS PRIOR to the date and time.

7. WHERE CAN I SEE A LIST OF ALL THE TIMES I’VE SIGNED UP TO PRAY FOR?

 

If you are already logged in, click “My Prayer Schedule” on the 626 Homepage.

Or from the AMI Prayer Calendar page, click “My Prayer Times” in the top right hand corner.  This link will take you to a page that shows all the dates and times you signed up for.

 

You will also be sent a reminder email from noreply@amichurches.com the day before you are scheduled to pray.

8. I FORGOT MY PASSWORD.  HOW CAN I GET A NEW ONE?

 

Step 1:

From the 626 Mandate Homepage, click the “Forgot your password?” link.

You will then be prompted to enter the email address you registered with. A new password will be sent to that email address. Once you receive the password, copy and paste it into the Password field when logging in.

9. HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

 

Step 1:

On the AMI Prayer Calendar page, click the My Settings link in the top right corner.

Step 2:

This will take you to the User Options page.  Click the “Change Password” link which will take you to the Change Password page.

10. WHY ARE WE LOGGING HOW MANY MINUTES WE PRAYED ONLY FOR CERTAIN PRAYER TOPICS?

As an AMI family, our aim is to instill prayer in each AMI church during this 626 Mandate.  We want to pray for all the churches and cover the Prayer Topics.  However, we also want to pray specifically for certain Timed Prayer Topics and log the number of minutes we prayed in order to encourage and build up our AMI family.  For this round of the 626 Mandate, we want to focus our prayers on the establishment of English Language Institutes in various countries to raise mission funds in those countries and build relationships with students.  Please log in the number of minutes you prayed for this special prayer topic.

11. HOW DO I LOG THE NUMBER OF MINUTES I PRAYED FOR THE TIMED PRAYER TOPICS?

Towards the bottom of the AMI Prayer Calendar page, click on the Timed Prayer Topics entry which can be found on the green menu bar. 

 

This will take you to the Timed Prayer Topics page.  This page lists all the prayer topics that have their "prayer time" logged.  The blue section above each topic displays the current amount of total prayer time for that topic and, also, a plus (+) and minus (-) button.  Clicking on the plus button will add time to the total prayer time logged for this topic.  Conversely, clicking on the minus will subtract time from the total.  You may only add or subtract time in 5 minute increments.
